From 7e8daa1c147b2612d1e858258852cb59f44bc1d7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: TyperBody Date: Sun, 27 Sep 2026 23:00:56 +0800 Subject: [PATCH] perf(operation-trace): cache and incrementally verify the integrity scan Reading the panel re-hashed up to MAX_INTEGRITY_SCAN_ROWS (20000) rows on every open, refresh and page turn -- measured ~280ms for 385 rows, growing linearly with history -- which is what made the log feel slow. The chain is append-only, so a verified prefix stays valid: keep a per-Workspace cache and, once warm, verify only the rows appended since (bounded window), reusing the prior result across reads. Deletions (prune / row budget) invalidate it. Also fix the cache-hit path (it referenced a field that was never stored) and the "scanned" count (it double-counted reused rows). Measured on 385 rows: cold ~280ms -> warm ~0.7ms -> incremental ~15ms. --- src/langbot/pkg/operation_trace/service.py | 155 ++++++++++++++++----- 1 file changed, 119 insertions(+), 36 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/langbot/pkg/operation_trace/service.py b/src/langbot/pkg/operation_trace/service.py index bc4294865..5ed23e1e0 100644 --- a/src/langbot/pkg/operation_trace/service.py +++ b/src/langbot/pkg/operation_trace/service.py @@ -115,6 +115,16 @@ DEFAULT_PAGE_SIZE = 50 #: is exactly what this bound avoids.
