fix(amneziawg): refuse a WireGuard port that is the row's own relay port
All three relay checks filter themselves out of the candidates with id != ignoreId, so nothing ever compared an AmneziaWG row's own WireGuard listen port with the relay port its own id derives. Saving a row on that exact port left the embedded device (UDP on the inbound's listen address, amneziawgnet/device.go:137) and its injected relay (TCP and UDP on 127.0.0.1, amneziawgnet/relay.go:47-61) bound to the same UDP port, so whichever loses the race dies -- and when the relay loses it, Xray refuses the whole config and takes every other protocol on the host with it. The first AmneziaWG inbound on port 65101 was enough to reach it: id 1 derives exactly that port. The row now states the rule its three siblings do: it owns the slot its id derives. A node-hosted row still keeps its own port, since it binds no relay on this host. TestAddInbound_AmneziawgRefusesItsOwnRelayPort and TestUpdateInbound_AmneziawgRefusesItsOwnRelayPort fail without this -- both were watched red first -- and pin the two separate call sites, AddInbound's post-Save block and checkPortConflictTx's ignoreId > 0 block. |

TestCheckPortConflict_AmneziawgnetSocksRelayReservedBeforeTheFirstPeer fails without this, on a test-only head whose go-test run failed on exactly that test, and passes with it. * docs(amneziawg): stop the forward check's doc block claiming every row gets a relay Round-1 LOW: the block's justification clause read "every one of them gets a relay inbound", which is false for exactly the rows this change newly reserves for -- injectAmneziawgnetSocks skips a row with no peer email, and that is the row whose port must stay reserved. A reader following the cross-reference landed on the guard this branch removes and read it as the rule. Replaced by the two facts that are true, which also brings the block under CLAUDE.md's two-line cap instead of twelve lines over it. The peerless reason stays where it is load-bearing, in the two-line comment above the candidate loop. |

checkAmneziawgnetSocksConflict filters enable = true, so a disabled AmneziaWG
row is not a candidate when an ordinary inbound's configured port is validated.
SetInboundEnable then flips the column with no port check, so enabling that row
later puts a second inbound on 127.0.0.1:65101 and Xray refuses the whole config.
Expected red on this head; the fix follows.

The forward port check filtered its candidates with enable = true, so a disabled
AmneziaWG row was invisible when an ordinary inbound's configured port was
validated. Nothing else covered the gap: the relay is not a database row, and
SetInboundEnable flips the column with no port check, so re-enabling that row put
a second inbound on 127.0.0.1:65101 and made Xray refuse its whole config,
taking every other protocol on the host down with it.
A row owns the slot its id derives for as long as the row exists, which is the
rule the reverse-direction check already follows. TestCheckPortConflict_
DisabledAmneziawgStillOwnsItsRelaySlot fails without this, on a test-only head
whose go-test run failed on exactly that test, and passes with it.
* test(amneziawg): drop the disabled-row case that asserts the reversed rule
TestCheckPortConflict_AmneziawgnetSocksRelayIgnoredWhenDisabled stated, in its
name and its doc comment, that a disabled AmneziaWG inbound's port must not
block anything -- the rule the parent commit reverses. It also never reached the
predicate it named: its fixture seeds Settings: {}, which
amneziawg.InstanceFromInbound rejects on parsed.Server == nil one statement
before the enable column is read, so it passed with or without the filter.
Leaving it would document both rules for the same operator state with nothing
failing to flag the contradiction. The rule this PR pins is covered for real by
TestCheckPortConflict_DisabledAmneziawgStillOwnsItsRelaySlot, whose fixture
carries a qualifying server block and an enabled peer.

* fix(amneziawg): wrap the relay port window instead of refusing ids past it An AmneziaWG inbound's loopback relay port is SOCKSBasePort + row id, and AddInbound refused any id that pushed it past 65535. The inbounds table is AUTOINCREMENT, so an id is never reused and the counter is only reset when the table empties: the 435-port window was a lifetime budget, and a database that had ever created more inbounds could never create another AmneziaWG one -- the reporter's counter sits at 70350, so the protocol never worked there at all (#6537). Ids now wrap into the same 435 ports, which leaves every id up to 435 with the exact port it had, so no existing row, relay or generated config moves. Wrapping makes the id -> port map non-injective, and nothing compared two derived relay ports before -- two relays on one port would leave Xray with a duplicate listen and refuse to start, taking the whole panel's proxy down. checkAmneziawgnetSocksRelayCollision now refuses a create or an edit whose derived port another local AmneziaWG row already owns, disabled rows included: a row owns its slot for good, and enabling it later re-runs no port check. * test(amneziawg): give each relay-window fixture its own client email Every fixture built the same client email, and an email is unique across the whole panel, so AddInbound refused the second create with "Duplicate email" before either new guard ran -- CI exercised neither the wrap nor the collision refusal. Each fixture now derives its email from its own tag, which is what the tag already exists for. * fix(amneziawg): say relay port in the relay conflict message A refusal that named the port of the automatic loopback relay read as if the named inbound listened on an unrelated port -- its own port is the WireGuard one. portConflictDetail now carries Relay, and both messages that report a derived relay port say "relay port N"; messages that report a configured port render byte-for-byte as before. * test(amneziawg): pin that a node-assigned inbound owns no relay slot A row adopted from a node carries a NodeID and the protocol it arrived with (inbound_node.go:737), yet injectAmneziawgnetSocks skips it, so it binds no loopback relay. The gate this PR added to checkPortConflictTx never looked at NodeID, so editing such a row can be refused for a slot it does not own. Expected red on this head; the fix follows. * fix(amneziawg): skip the relay guards for node-assigned inbounds Round-2 review finding: the gate this PR added to checkPortConflictTx keyed on inbound.Protocol alone, so it also ran for a row adopted from a node. Such a row carries a NodeID and gets no loopback relay -- injectAmneziawgnetSocks skips it and the desired-instance query is node_id IS NULL -- so it owns no slot and can collide with nothing, yet editing it was refused with "relay port N ... already used by inbound '<local>'", naming a port the edited row never binds. Wrapping made this visible: before it, an adopted id above 435 derived a port above 65535 that no row could hold, so the pre-existing reverse check under the same gate could not fire. Both call sites now require NodeID == nil, matching the local-only predicate the forward check already used. TestCheckPortConflict_NodeAssignedAmneziawgOwnsNoRelaySlot fails without this, with the exact false refusal, and passes with it. |

Inbound traffic was read from the sidecar's /proc/<pid>/io rchar, but the kernel only counts read()/write() there and tuic-server moves its sockets with recvfrom/recvmmsg/sendmmsg/sendto, so an inbound's up/down stayed at 0 forever and inbound total limits never tripped (measured: 12 MiB relayed, rchar delta 0). The panel now owns the inbound's public UDP port with a small relay and runs tuic-server behind it on a loopback port, counting up/down exactly on every OS. tuic-server therefore logs 127.0.0.1 as every client's address; per-client attribution stays unsupported since QUIC is opaque. - Instance.BindTo formatted an IPv6 listen address as ":::8443", which tuic-server rejects with "invalid socket address syntax", so an inbound listening on "::" or any IPv6 literal never started. It now uses net.JoinHostPort; IPv4 output is unchanged. - The log level is passed to the sidecar as chosen. feat(amneziawg): add native AmneziaWG protocol support (#6105)
* feat(amneziawg): add native AmneziaWG protocol backend AmneziaWG (WireGuard plus DPI-resistant obfuscation) needs no Docker here — it runs as a genuine kernel interface via awg-quick/awg, managed the same way internal/mtproto manages mtg: one Inbound row is one desired Instance, and a Manager reconciles running interfaces toward the database every 10s (internal/web/job/amneziawg_job.go) plus immediately after a client edit (applyLocalAmneziaWG). Clients reuse model.Client verbatim (the same PrivateKey/PublicKey/ PreSharedKey/AllowedIPs fields WireGuard already uses), so bulk operations, the QR/share-link modal and subscriptions come from the shared inbound infrastructure instead of a parallel implementation. internal/amneziawg owns the obfuscation param generator/validator (ported from coinman-dev/3ax-ui, upgraded to AmneziaWG 2.0's S3/S4 padding and I1 signature packet) and the exec wrapper around awg-quick/awg, with fingerprint-based reconcile (noop / reload-via- syncconf / full restart) mirroring mtproto.Manager so a same-protocol edit doesn't force an unnecessary interface bounce that would drop every peer's connection. Frontend and install.sh's DKMS/awg-tools setup are tracked separately; this is backend-only. Client key/allowedIPs fields are reused rather than duplicated: since AmneziaWG clients are wire-identical to WireGuard clients (same model.Client fields), ClientFormModal renders one shared field block for both, switching only the visible label by which protocol is active. The private-key input also gets a live public-key sync via a new useEffect, because unlike WireGuard's Xray-native inbound (which re-derives its public key at runtime and never stores one), AmneziaWG's server.publicKey is a real persisted field the Go backend reads directly — free-typing a new private key without this would silently save a mismatched keypair. Adds a downloadable per-client .conf (amneziawgConfig.ts, mirroring wireguardConfig.ts) with the obfuscation lines, and an InboundOption.AwgServer field on the Go side so the config builder gets the full server block in one round trip. Along the way, running tools/openapigen surfaced a real bug: it doesn't flatten anonymously-embedded Go structs the way encoding/json does, so ServerSettings embedding Obfuscation20 produced a Zod schema with a nested `obfuscation20` key that never matches the real wire JSON. Fixed by un-embedding (flat fields + an accessor method) and registering internal/amneziawg in the generator's own package list, which had been silently emitting a dangling schema reference. English and Russian translations are complete; the other 10 locale files still fall back to English for the new keys. Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(amneziawg): complete frontend parity for the Inbounds list page The Clients page (form, CRUD, QR/config) already worked from the prior commit; this closes the remaining gap on the Inbounds side and in a couple of protocol allowlists that a plain search for existing wireguard/mtproto handling turned up. lib/xray/inbound-link.ts gets amneziawg-specific link/config builders (genAmneziaWGLink/genAmneziaWGConfig, plus the *s fan-out variants) mirroring the wireguard ones — AmneziaWG has no legacy peers-array to fall back to, so these read settings.clients directly and add the obfuscation lines every client must share with the server. Wired into genInboundLinks generically, and into three consumers that call the wireguard builders directly rather than through that dispatcher: QrCodeModal, InboundInfoModal, and InboundsPage's bulk export. ClientInfoModal, ClientBulkAddModal, and the bulk attach/detach modals each had their own protocol allowlist that needed amneziawg added alongside wireguard/mtproto. Two real gaps surfaced by grepping every remaining 'wireguard' / Protocols.WIREGUARD hit in frontend/src rather than trusting the checklist was exhaustive: - useInbounds.ts's TRACKED_PROTOCOLS gates the deactive/depleted/ expiring/online client counts shown per inbound on the list page; without amneziawg those counts would silently read zero. - inbound-tag.ts is an explicit client-side mirror of the Go backend's port_conflict.go (the file says so itself: "Keep in sync"). It still only special-cased wireguard for UDP, so an amneziawg inbound would have fallen through to the TCP default and disagreed with the backend's own port-conflict math. Also finishes translating the AmneziaWG UI strings into the 11 locale files that were still falling back to English (ar-EG, es-ES, fa-IR, id-ID, ja-JP, pt-BR, tr-TR, uk-UA, vi-VN, zh-CN, zh-TW), matching en-US/ru-RU key-for-key (26 new keys, verified by count in every file). Not run anywhere: npm run typecheck / build. This machine has neither Node nor npm, so nothing here has compiled — reviewed by hand plus brace/paren balance checks and cross-referencing the generated Zod/TS types. Treat this as needing a real typecheck before shipping. Added isNodeEligibleProtocol (inbound_protocol.go), mirroring the frontend's allowlist, and enforced it in both AddInbound (the actually exploitable path -- nodeId comes straight from the request) and UpdateInbound (defense in depth; NodeID is already restored from the stored row there before this check, so it mainly guards against a protocol change on an existing node-hosted inbound). * fix(inbounds): close the port check-and-claim race on the serial writer AddInbound reads the port conflict outside its transaction and then commits in a bare db.Transaction, so two overlapping creates both pass the read and both insert. UpdateInbound already runs on the single traffic writer, and so does the node snapshot path; AddInbound is the one inbound writer left out. Move it onto runSerializedTx and evaluate the conflict inside the transaction, in both AddInbound and UpdateInbound. The check and the claim then commit together on one goroutine, which closes the window on SQLite (immediate write lock) and PostgreSQL alike without new schema, locks or configuration. The wildcard/specific pair is the case worth naming: those are two distinct rows, so no unique index can reject them — only the semantic check can, and only if nothing can interleave between it and the insert. * fix(inbounds): restore the port check UpdateInbound lost The previous commit deleted UpdateInbound's pre-flight conflict check and never added the in-transaction one, so editing an inbound onto an occupied port was accepted outright. No test covered that path, so CI stayed green. Evaluate the conflict inside the transaction, as AddInbound already does, and add the regression test that fails without it. * chore: drop the accidentally committed dist build stub internal/web/dist/.gitkeep is what make dist-stub creates locally. fix(inbounds): flag conflicts with the reserved Xray API port (#5304)
The internal API inbound (tag "api", default port 62789 on 127.0.0.1) lives in the Xray config template, not the inbounds table, so checkPortConflict never caught a local user inbound reusing it — Xray then bound the port twice and served requests unpredictably. Now reject a local TCP inbound whose listen overlaps loopback on the reserved API port, read from the template (fallback 62789). Nodes are unaffected since they run their own Xray. |

client.go had grown to 4455 lines mixing ~10 responsibilities. Split it
verbatim into cohesive same-package files (no behavior change):

ResetClientIpLimitByEmail, ResetClientExpiryTimeByEmail, and
ResetClientTrafficLimitByEmail shared an identical ~50-line body that
resolves the inbound by email, confirms the client exists, rewrites a
single-client settings payload, and delegates to UpdateInboundClient.
Extract that into applyClientFieldByEmail(inboundSvc, email, mutate) and
reduce each setter to a 3-line wrapper. Behavior is unchanged: same checks
and error strings, same single-client payload contract, same totalGB guard.
SetClientTelegramUserID (resolves by traffic id, different error text) and
ToggleClientEnableByEmail/SetClientEnableByEmail (different return shape and
a pre-read of the old state) intentionally keep their own bodies.
* refactor(service): extract panel/ subpackage
Move the panel-administration leaf services out of the flat service
package into web/service/panel/ (package panel):

These depend on core (SettingService, ServerService, XraySettingService) but

the unexported SettingService.saveSetting. The shared isBlockedIP SSRF helper
(used by core url_safety.go and by custom_geo) now has a small copy in each
package rather than being exported. Core references qualified; callers in
web/web.go, web/job/*, and web/controller/* updated to integration.*.
Build, vet, and go test ./web/... pass.
* refactor(service): extract tgbot/ subpackage
Move the Telegram bot (6 files + test) into web/service/tgbot/ (package
tgbot). It is a leaf: it embeds five core services (Inbound/Client/Setting/
Server/Xray) and the core never references it, so no import cycle.
To support the package boundary without changing behavior:
- core exposes XrayProcess() *xray.Process so tgbot keeps calling the
exact same running-process methods it used via the package-level `p`;
- three core methods tgbot calls are exported: ClientService.checkIs-
EnabledByEmail -> CheckIsEnabledByEmail, InboundService.getAllEmails ->
GetAllEmails (callers updated in-package);
- tgbot's embedded-field types and the few core type refs (Status,
ClientCreatePayload, SanitizePublicHTTPURL) are now service-qualified.
Callers in main.go, web/web.go, web/job/*, and web/controller/* updated to
tgbot.*. Build, vet, and go test ./web/... pass.
* refactor(service): extract outbound/ subpackage
OutboundService (outbound.go) imports only neutral packages (config,
database, model, xray) and its production code is referenced by no core or
sibling service file — only by web/controller/xray_setting.go and
web/job/xray_traffic_job.go. Move it to web/service/outbound/ (package
outbound); no core qualification needed inside. Callers updated to outbound.*.
The one coupling was a tiny pure test helper, outboundsContainTag, used by
both outbound.go and the core outbound_subscription_test.go; it now has a
small copy in that test file rather than being shared across the boundary.
Build, vet, and go test ./web/... pass.
* refactor(util): move wireguard into its own subpackage
util/wireguard.go was the lone file of the root `util` package (24 lines,
one exported func GenerateWireguardKeypair), while every other util concern
lives in a focused subpackage (util/common, util/crypto, util/netsafe, ...).
Move it to util/wireguard/ (package wireguard) for consistency; its only
importer, web/service/integration/warp.go, is updated. The root `util`
package no longer exists.
* refactor(sub): drop redundant sub prefix from filenames
Inside package sub the subXxx.go prefix just repeats the package name
(like client_*.go did inside service). Rename for consistency; content and
type names are unchanged:
subController.go -> controller.go
subService.go -> service.go
subClashService.go -> clash_service.go
subJsonService.go -> json_service.go
(+ matching _test.go files)
* refactor(controller): rename xui.go -> spa.go
XUIController serves the panel's single-page-app shell; spa.go names that
role plainly (the other controller files are domain-named). File rename only
— the type stays XUIController. api_docs_test.go keys route base paths by
filename, so its "xui.go" case is updated to "spa.go".
* refactor: move backend packages under internal/
Adopt the idiomatic Go application layout: the backend packages now live
under internal/ (a boundary the toolchain enforces), signalling private
implementation instead of a library-style flat root. No runtime behavior
changes — only import paths and a few build/config paths move.
Moved: config, database, logger, mtproto, sub, util, web, xray -> internal/.
main.go stays at the repo root and tools/openapigen stays under tools/ (both
still import internal/* because the internal rule keys off the module root).
The module path github.com/mhsanaei/3x-ui/v3 is unchanged; 149 .go files had
their import prefix rewritten to .../internal/<pkg>.
Couplings the Go compiler can't see, updated to the new layout:
- frontend i18n imports of web/translation (react.ts, setup.components.ts)
- vite outDir + eslint/tsconfig ignore globs -> internal/web/dist
- Dockerfile COPY paths for web/dist and web/translation
- locale.go os.DirFS("web") disk fallback -> "internal/web"
- .gitignore and ci.yml go:embed stub for internal/web/dist
- api_docs_test.go repo-root relative walk (one level deeper)
- tools/openapigen filesystem package paths; ApiTokenView repointed to the
web/service/panel subpackage and codegen regenerated (clears a stale
type the ci.yml codegen check was failing on)
Verified: go build/vet/test (all packages), and frontend typecheck, lint,
vitest (478 tests), and production build into internal/web/dist.
* fix(config): keep test runs from writing logs into the source tree
GetLogFolder() returns a CWD-relative "./log" on Windows. Under `go test`
the working directory is each package's own folder, so InitLogger (called by
tests in web/job, web/service, xray, web/websocket) created stray log/
directories scattered through the source tree (e.g. internal/web/job/log/).
Redirect to a shared temp folder when testing.Testing() reports a test run.
Production behavior is unchanged: Windows still uses ./log next to the binary
and Linux /var/log/x-ui. The log files were always gitignored (*.log) and
never committed; this just stops the noise at the source.
* docs: move subscription-template guide out of root into docs/
sub_templates/ was a top-level folder holding only a README and no actual
templates (3x-ui ships none by design), referenced nowhere and unlinked from
any doc — it read like an empty placeholder cluttering the repo root.
Move the guide to docs/custom-subscription-templates.md (a proper docs home),
reword its intro to read as documentation rather than a folder note, link it
from the Features list in README.md, and drop the empty sub_templates/ folder.
* fix: update stale web/ path references after the internal/ move
The internal/ migration rewrote Go import paths but left some references to
the old top-level layout in docs, comments, and a few runtime disk paths.
Functional (dev-mode only): the disk-serving fallbacks that read the Vite
build from disk when running from source still pointed at web/dist/, which
moved to internal/web/dist/ — so `os.DirFS`/`os.Stat`/`os.ReadFile` in
internal/web/web.go and internal/sub/{sub,controller}.go are corrected.
Production was unaffected (it serves the embedded FS; verified by the Docker
build), but `go run` with a live frontend build silently fell back to embed.
Docs/comments: frontend/README.md, CONTRIBUTING.md, the claude-issue-bot and
release workflows, the openapigen -root help text, and assorted Go comments
now reference internal/web, internal/database, internal/sub, internal/xray,
etc. Package-name mentions (the "web" package), root paths (main.go,
frontend/, install scripts, /etc/x-ui), routes (/panel/api/xray), and the
historical "web/assets no longer exists" note were intentionally left as-is.
* refactor(web): remove the legacy /xui -> /panel redirect middleware
RedirectMiddleware existed only for backward compatibility with the old
`/xui` URL scheme (301-redirecting /xui and /xui/API to /panel and
/panel/api). That cutover was long ago, so drop the middleware, its
registration in initRouter, and the now-inaccurate "URL redirection"
mention in the middleware package doc. Old /xui URLs now 404 like any other
unknown path. HTTPS auto-redirect and auth redirects are unrelated and stay.
* build: fix .dockerignore for internal/ layout and exclude runtime dir
- web/dist -> internal/web/dist: the embedded frontend moved under internal/,
so the stale exclude no longer matched and the locally-built dist could be
sent to the build context (the frontend stage rebuilds it fresh anyway).
- exclude x-ui/: the local runtime directory (SQLite db, geo .dat files, xray
binaries, certs — ~150MB) was being shipped into the build context for no
reason. Verified the pattern excludes only the directory and still keeps
x-ui.sh, which the Dockerfile copies to /usr/bin/x-ui.
